SagaTronic is a South African Company based in Durban, KwaZulu Natal, with an accumulation of 40 years experience in the Crane Industry, and has grown into a highly respected and successful Company manufacturing the unique & innovatively designed SAGA Load Limiters.
We have agents & distributors throughout Southern Africa. Our products are supplied to various other parts of Africa such as Mozambique, Namibia, Zambia, Botswana and Zimbabwe. We export our SAGA Load Limiters to various Offshore Countries.
TECHNICAL DATA:
The SAGA Load Limiter is a mechanical device that has been designed particularly for fitting to
existing Overhead Cranes and Hoists with a dead end wire rope and connecting directly into the UP Motion function of the lifting system. The cut off point is done via a ... Micro Switch.
The SAGA Load Limiters have no wearing parts, are simple and quick to fit and are easily adjustable.
The Load Limiters are adapted for use on all wire ropes. All Load Limiters are galvanized with
an anti corrosive coating designed to provide protection as well as resistance to chemicals and thermal cycling at a dry film thickness of 8-12mm i.e. bolts and nuts or any other component requiring close tolerances.
The Load Limiters can be made up with several variations that are fitted into a steel wire rope or welded on to a travelling bogey as well as Radio Controlled.
The SAGA Electro Mechanical Weldable Load Limiter with adjustment screw can be provided with up to six micro switches 5A, 250 VAC separately adjustable for specific surveillance and load limits with alternatives for bending forces on beams and strain forces in pillars, stay beams etc. Read more
